Who we are

What we collect and why

• Your name, phone number and email, to make your order, contact you about it and send your receipt.
• Your delivery address (delivery orders only), to bring you your food.
• Your order and any notes, including allergy notes you choose to give us, so the kitchen can cook it right.

Our legal basis is performing our contract with you (making and delivering your order) and our legal obligation to keep financial records. We do not send marketing, sell your data or use advertising trackers.

Customer accounts (optional)

You can order as a guest. If you create an account we keep your name, email, phone number, a saved delivery address and a hashed (unreadable) password, plus a sign-in cookie, so you can see your orders and check out faster. You can change these details or delete the account at any time from Your account. Deleting it removes the account and saved details; past orders stay in our records for accounting but are no longer linked to you.

Live delivery tracking

For delivery orders we turn your postcode into an approximate map position so we can show the route. While your rider is delivering your order you see their first name and live position. Riders share their location only while they are signed in and online; we keep just their latest position and delete it when they go offline.

Payments

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment details you give them.

Who else sees it

• Stripe (payments) and our email provider (to send your receipt).
• Our delivery driver sees your name, address and phone number for your order.
• postcodes.io, a free public service, is asked whether a postcode exists. Only the postcode is sent.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years because UK tax law requires it. If you ask, we will delete or anonymise anything we aren't required to keep.

Your phone or computer

This site stores your basket, Delivery/Collection choice and (only if you tick “Remember my details”) your contact details in your browser's own storage, so they are there next time. Nothing is tracked across other websites. Stripe sets cookies needed to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Staff sign-in uses one essential cookie.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us on order@lebolebanesegrill.uk. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
